Tron

Tron is the first film which uses computer animation in 1982. In December 2010, it is adapted again. You could see the two trailers as following. The plots are the same. However, the shooting skill is thorough change. Pass through 28 years, we can be inspired from this film. Not only this movie but also our world has changed. In the trailers, I found out that the car race scene is so funny. Old version just uses some simple light lines to display it. The new version uses the real virtual to increase its effect. Although the old version makes me feel funny, from it, I still could comprehend what the director would like to show to the audiences. Furthermore, it is the first time to use this technique. Perhaps this reason, it would make me feel more touched. Actually, the plot is very simple. If you are interested in the story, I do not think it is a good choice. Nevertheless, if you are excited about its sensational special effect, do not miss this fantastic film. It uses over three hundred million to shoot this film. The budget even exceeds Avator’s. It will not make you disappointed. Are you ready to Tron?

Armageddon

I read an article of news about Armageddon in 2012. The news shows several causes which bring about deadly devastation. From the news, I believe that there are three main causes which probably happen. World War III-when people pass through a period of peace, they could fight for some ridiculous reason in past history. Recently, North and South Korea have some conflict. It is a significant situation which war could break out. Terrorist Attack-Terrorists have no love for this world. If they are out of the control and get some weapons of mass destruction, they will do some crazy things which they even cannot restrain. The last one is that bees become extinct and environmental problem-I think these two reasons need to be discussed together. Because of environmental change, it could influence animals’ living style. It must contain bees’ lives. Actually, bees’ extinction is not the first time that people mention. The evidence extremely proves that the amount of bee dramatically plummet during this time. Perhaps I take notice of other creatures in this world. It is really horrible.

Charles Dickens

Scrooged is a significant movie to me because its story is so fantastic. It is adapted from a famous story – A Christmas Carol. The story describes a cynical and conceited TV programming executive. He never knows how to concern for others. Later, three ghosts of Christmas bring him go to the past, now and future. After coming back, he changes his personality and treats others well. As of yesterday, I only knew that it is modern version of A Christmas Carol which is written by Charles Dickens who is the well-known author of Oliver Twist. It makes me take an interest in Christmas. Christ stands for Jesus. Furthermore, mas stems from mass. It means that people pray to God. Charles Decks lives in a poor family. His father treats friends very well. However, his father is caught into jail due to bankruptcy. It influences Decks’ personality. Almost his works tell about poverty. Also, Decks’ stories really stand the test of time. Until today, his works still affect a lot of novelists.

Recently, I read an article about herbivore men. I found out that there are some characteristics which I own. It mentions that herbivore men do not like to involve into a love relationship with women. They like to live with their parents as long as they can. It also represents they do not like to organize a family. They do not dedicate to chase a girl. However, it does not mean that they are gay. They only care about their appearance and clothing. After reading this article, I check my personalities to compare to herbivore men. I like staying at home and accompanying with my parents. The different point is that I like to make my parents laugh instead of relying on them. Trying to use various ways and my imagination to amuse my parents is my interest because it makes me feel a sense of achievement. Through what I do, I can more feel my existence. Furthermore, from this article, I learnt a new word called “masculinity”. I am not sure whether I have this personality or not. Nevertheless, I am more concerned about if a man owns chivalry or not. I think that as a man has to treat woman decently, softly, and gently. This thought makes me be an elegant man. Actually, in my mind, there is a bard living there. The girl who I like will see the side of me.

Toy Globetrotter

On this website people can let their toys to become globetrotter. The charge ranges from basic at around US$128 to high-end at nearly US$200. After the traveling, people’s toys safely come back to their home and they accompany their masters on flipping through the photographs which taken in many famous landmarks. Actually, I have done the same thing before. I cycled Taiwan with my wooded owl. At many scenic spots I stopped ridding and took pictures for it. It is really an interesting and fun experience. My owl and I took in the pretty views. Right now he is sitting on my bookshelf. When I feel frustrated, it insidiously encourages me.

Divorce Ceremonies

A divorce ceremony is new way to help couple end a relationship. A man created it in Japan. In his opinion, he considers that people get married to celebrate, so people are supposed to celebrate to end an unhappy marriage. It is like the wedding ceremony. Couples need to invite their relatives and friends to join it. Furthermore, they would use a hammer which a frog’s head is decorated on it to destroy their wedding rings. This hammer is called gavel. It means a new change in Japanese culture. After smashing the rings, couple has a new fresh start. However, during this special ceremony, people still share their stories about how they meet each other, how they fall in love and how they get married. Sometimes it could make couples think their love again. Later, they could decide not to get divorce. For me, I see marriage to be a sacred belief. After people get married, it means you exchange not only the rings but also people’s soul. It is not too easy to smash a marriage. People need to focus their thoughts on their communication and together find out the measure to solve any problem in the marriage. A marriage symbolizes that you give the soul to other one to care, protect and rely on. It is not merely a game.

Superbug

It is reported that there is a new gene of superbugs (new bacteria-NDM-1) which was found in India. Because it can resist various antibiotic, researchers and medical people cannot find out the exact therapy to cure those people who suffer from it. Furthermore, a crisis is worried by some experts, for some Americans and European travel to these area where this new bacteria was found out. Meanwhile, travelers probably bring it back to their countries. It is lurking. On the other hand, WHO has already noticed its seriousness. It appeal to each country for caring four parts which include surveillance, rational antibiotic use, legislation to stop the sale of antibiotics without prescription and rigorous infection prevention measures. First, surveillance, each country need to keep watching any symptom which resembles to this new bacteria in order to prevent it from spreading. If finding out any case and syndrome is like it, authorities have to quarantine patients immediately. Second, because this new bacteria can trigger some symptoms which doctors could mistake in diagnosis and offer erroneous antibiotic drugs, these could help this new bacteria to alter. When doctors find out the reason, it is too late. Third, as same as the way of use, if people who suffer from it just directly go to buy the medicines, it causes the same situation. Last but not the least, government need to inform people of the existence of this new superbug and remind people of doing some prevention measures, such as hand-washing, personal hygiene and so on.

Spectrum League - Goldenman

I took my nine-month son to fly to Japan. Unfortunately, the airplane crashed the Pacific Ocean. In this accident, it claimed three hundred lives except my son and me. It was the first time that I used my superpower. At the moment, I hugged my son, and the airplane began disintegrating. The plane went down extremely fast. Some people were absorbed out of the plane by high pressure. Some seats started catching fire. Finally, my son and I were sucked out of the plane. We went to the sky. The high pressure let us not to breath. Death was the only thought in my mind. Suddenly, I felt my body start changing. My body initiated to transform into golden color, and then it was melting. However, all parts of my body still connected each other. My body kept stretching. Besides the hands catching my son, it became a huge golden surface. The strong wind blew it, so it totally twisted. Miracle happened. Falling speed obviously slowed down. I found out that my body was like a golden parachute. We landed on a big piece of the wreckage of the airplane. The rescue crew arrived after the next day. We survived in this disaster.

Aside:The woman eventually knew how to use her superpower which can transform herself into golden. About her son, he has another superpower to collect the green color. He is greenman.

Spectrum League - Purplewoman

I was an assassinator several years ago. I can convert any liquid into purple poison. The VO(Vacancy Organization) designated me to the target who organization would like to terminate. People are captivated by my attraction. It is easier to get close to the target. Later, I use my power to change their water or drink. Sometimes I will give them a kiss. After that, they do not pass away immediately. The purple poison would go into their heart, and then it transformed into a purple clot. It would trigger to block people’s blood circulation. About 30 minutes, their heart would stop to function until their death. As people inspected their cause of death, they would find nothing but natural reason. My biological parents dumped me in a gutter with a plastic barrel. I never saw them. I drifted to a chemical manufacture. Finally, I fell into a chemical pool. For some reason I did not drown, and my skin start to absorb these chemical material. A man pulled me up. He became my adoptive father. He educated me a lot of knowledge. Becoming an proper assassinator to pay him back is my honor.

Aside:The man who saved her life was Blackman. He is the leader of VO(Vacancy Organization). This organization’s goal is to revenge. And the target were normal human. Purplewoman fell in love with another man who came from Spectrum League. She will face the most struggling selection in her life. To betray VO or choose her love.

Spectrum League - Indigowoman

I can use indigo wave to connect with the past and the future. When I touch a radio and any things which can connect with the wave, the information from the past and the future can be transmitted back. It would broadcast the news or programs from the time. Although I can gain a lot of information which does not happen yet, I cannot change the past and the future. Once I tried to go buying a lottery, but the number was changed. And it is still the same man who won the lottery. Furthermore, I tried to save a person who would have a car accident. I helped him prevent from the accident, but he had a heart attack at the same time. After that, I knew that I cannot change the future. Nevertheless, I assume this super power as a recreation, so I seldom used it after I knew the truth. I was first time to gain this super power because of another accident. At that time, I played with junior high school classmate. We used antennas as swords to play each other. Suddenly, there was a lightning hitting my antennas. I lost my conscious, but didn’t get any hurt. My classmate tried to waken me up. Later, my body started shinning indigo. It gradually transformed into a tiny indigo scar. Right now it stays on my forehead, and I have a power to connect with the wave from radio.

Spectrum League - Blueman

I can communicate with marine creatures. It is like a device which is installed in my brain. For some lower intellectual ones, they can make some single words, such as eat and sleep. Furthermore, for some higher intellectual ones, they can give rise to clear and significant sentences. For example, one day I went to Ocean Park. There are some dolphins which swam in the water. Through the glass dolphins transmitted some things into my brain. They said they were so glad to communicate with human beings. They hope that I can tell to their coach about their swimming pool was not clear because of sea lions’ bad habits to excrete their stuff into water. When I let the sea lion kiss my cheek, I told to him about that. Sea lion was so angry to complain that dolphins did not like sleeping in the night and they sang all the night. They totally interrupt their sleeping time. When I was a seven-year child, I drowned in the swimming pool. As the rescuer pulled me from the water, I already lost my consciousness. The Rescuer tried to use CPR to give me first aid. Nevertheless, it was still too late to save my life. It started raining. My corpse was brought to hospital in the ambulance, and then a car accident took place. Meanwhile, my body was sent to the ground. The rain dripped on my body. A blue light shone from my body. After the light faded, I breathed again. In the wake of this accident, I can communicate with any creatures living in the ocean.

Spectrum League - Greenman

When the first time I transformed green color into another energy, I was only twelve years old. My father, a tourist guide, took me to accompany with him on the way to his office. I sat in back of his scooter. Suddenly, there was a shiny green light flashing in the sky, and I was the only one who saw the light. Meanwhile, after receiving this shock, I lost my consciousness. I fell down from the scooter, and my father felt astounded and then took me to the hospital immediately. I gradually recovered my consciousness. However, my body was as fine as before. The doctor said that I did not get any hurt. MRI(magnetic resonance imaging) displayed normal as well. I told my father what I saw at the time, but he said that it was an illusion. I stayed home for several days. Nothing was changed as usual. Nevertheless, something happened one day. I stood in front of the window. The wind blew through a tree opposite to my house. The green color was drawn out from the tree. I can collect everything related to the green color, such as trees, weeds, any item painted green and so on. Upon using my consciousness, they would follow my direction, and then I could compress them into a shine small green ball. I’m greenman.

Aside:

The green ball could heal people who got any hurt. However, it could not prolong people’s longevity, and it could not heal death.

Spectrum League - Yellowwoman

I got struck by lightning when I was a junior high school student. I went swimming with my classmates. At that time, it was suddenly raining heavily. Everyone climbed out of the swimming pool. However, I was in the middle of the pool, so I spent more time close to the poolside. Unfortunately, I was too late. There is a beam of thunder light hit in the swimming. After that, I lost my consciousness and submerged into the water. The lifesaver jumped into the water and pulled me out of the pool. When the lifesaver would like to checked my pulse, my body shone a yellow light. I gradually opened my eyes, and then everyone passed out. Everything just seemed as like as usual. Nevertheless, one thing became weird. When I felt nervous, I would felt others people’s movement becoming very slow. Sometimes, I even felt that everything was still. I first used this super power, when my mother took a bus which some robbers hijacked. I used it to slip into the bus, take away their weapons, wrap them and pull over the car. I brought my mother back home, and my mother became the only person live who know I have this super power at the time before I joined in the Spectrum League. It was reported everyone just saw a yellow light in the bus. Later, every robber was bound. My mother told me that I must use it to help other people. She was proud of me.

Spectrum League - Orangeman

I become mortal at night because the sun does not shine at the time. I have a superpower which gives me a power to transform the sunshine into energy. This energy can supply energy to the machine, including cars, aircraft, robots and so on. I worked for a newspaper company. I was a columnist. I always comment on toys in the supplement. I got this power when I was a child. My father brought me to the Toy Castle, the most famous toy shop in the world. He would like to buy me a gift. I was addicted to the dynamic dragons, so we went to the area to pick out the toys. Unfortunately, we faced a huge earthquake. We were pinned under the wreckage. The building sank about three floors. A lot of crushed stone laid on our body; therefore, we could not move our bodies anymore. I felt so scared. My father comforted me, and he said if I kept crying, I would lose energy and die. I try to remain myself calm. However, my father lost his consciousness on the second day. Close to my face, there was a shaft of dim light which shone down. I stared the light and started praying. Suddenly, I heard some noise around me. Toys started operating. Some toys had light and the dark place lit by them. I could use my mind to control whole the toys. I commanded them to dig a hole to connect the ground. Finally, the crew of rescue team found the hole and assigned people to save my father and me. After that, I had a power to use the energy from the sun.

Aside:He met a doctor who specialized in saving energy. The doctor designed a device to help him save the energy from the sun. Finally, his ability was completed in the Spectrum League.

Spectrum League - Redman

When I was 6 years old, one day my sister rode a bicycle and carried me on the way back home. There was a bank which was robbed. The robbers and police officers were confronting each other in front of the bank. Unfortunately, everything happened so fast that my sister could not react. The robbers rushed out with a furious attack. Robbers crossed a park next to the bank and kept firing to cops. Suddenly, my sister got a stray bullet, but she held the balance for protecting me. Finally, she stopped the bicycle and lifted me down, and then she fell down. There is wound which was bleeding on her belly. My sister’s T-shirt gradually turned red from white. Even though she was bleeding, she still comforted me. I sat next to her and started crying. I did not know what happened to my sister. That let me feel helpless. The only thing that I could do was crying. However, some miracle happened. As my cry, my sister’s wound drew back the blood. Her T-shirt turned back to white. As a result, whole the blood which she bled went back to her body, and my sister felt refreshed. She stood up and checked the wound. A small scab formed on her belly. She looked at me and felt curious, because everything happened was hard to explain. She took the bike and took me home. We never talked about it anymore. However, I got a hemophobia. When I saw any blood, I would feel dizzy and feared of blood.

Aside:
In SL (Spectrum league), finally, he acted as an doctor who could control the blood. He overcame it in a rescue activity in order to save his wife who was grasped by bank robbers.

Although Wei Ting was only eighteen years old, she was full of experience to cycle Taiwan. She was so young, but she always could take care of others.

About UU’s cousin, we had same Chinese Zodiac, but I am 12 years older than her. She always let me feel that life was significant and meaningful.

Stallan and Zhong were best cyclists. No matter where we saw them, we could gain the sense of safety. Zhong will become police officer after this journey. He will get training in the police school.

2P was the most mature dreamer in this journey. He was thoughtful to face his life.

Fat Cat and Jun Ann expressed their friendship without a word. When Fat Cat’s bike got broken, we could always see Jun Ann behind Fat Cat. It was really good friends.

UU showed me that what the strong will was.

Fish always knew where the delicious food was. He was vice leader in this journey. Some urgent situation he could solve very well.

Stallan and Zhong were best cyclists. No matter where we saw them, we could gain the sense of safety. Stallan's bike was about NT 200,000!

Ping was an independent girl. I was proud of her.

I admired Jing Ting’s spirit when she did not like to give up this journey. And she carried a big bag without other dreamers’ assistance. The chief organized this group, and we had wonderful chat during this journey.

Tuna was the most unlucky guy in this journey. Nevertheless, he never gave up and kept optimistic.

1P was a funny guy. Even though almost dreamers felt tired, he still hoped to make some joke to let us feel pleasant.

The king of Good Job was UU’s brother. He was so wise. We had some same characteristic. I laughed loudly because of his jokes.

Chopper kept massaged whole the dreamers’ legs every night during this journey.

Cycling Formosa - Pre-Training

Her name is Miky. She only has one eye. The owner of florist shop raise her in Hsin Tien. The owner does not care whether she is defect or not. The fact is that she is extremely cute and gentle. Even at the end of my visiting, she could follow my indication. I am so touched.

For completing this dream, I restarted getting in shape from May. This was the only thing I could do during the time. At the end of June, I was so lucky that I found out a group preparing for around Formosa. In July, I started practice riding bicycle. I changed my another facebook’s account from my nick name to Bubo Jack which means it will bring the success and luck for this journey. Athena gives Perseus her pet owl, mechanical counterpart, is called Bubo, to find out Gordon and succeed in killing her. Late July, we found out and decided where to stay for each night. I phoned about twenty hostels to confirm the accommodation. Finally, we succeed in arranging and solving whole the problems. In August 9, I got a severe cough. I hoped I can recover as soon as possible. I didn't want it to influence my dream. It's so terrible. In August 16, Valentine’s Day, we set up our journey.

Postscript: In the 1981 movie Clash of the Titans, the goddess Athena's pet owl, and its mechanical counterpart, is called Bubo, the name being inspired by the Latin name of the Eurasian Eagle-owl.

8/7 Today I broke personal record, riding 118KM long. I make a round trip from Bitan and Zhuwei Station and try to take care of other three enthusiastic members.

8/2 I was amazed that fire station offer a lot of assistance for people who need aid. It was the first time I did a training with other members from Zhuwei Station to Dadaocheng Wharf.

Although I took some pictures of Bitan's view, I did not take them at the same day. The quanity of my pre-training was 1034 kilometer.

The beautiful view and meaning gave me the energy to carry on my dream.
