Jack's Space: Cycling Formosa

Her name is Miky. She only has one eye. The owner of florist shop raise her in Hsin Tien. The owner does not care whether she is defect or not. The fact is that she is extremely cute and gentle. Even at the end of my visiting, she could follow my indication. I am so touched.

For completing this dream, I restarted getting in shape from May. This was the only thing I could do during the time. At the end of June, I was so lucky that I found out a group preparing for around Formosa. In July, I started practice riding bicycle. I changed my another facebook’s account from my nick name to Bubo Jack which means it will bring the success and luck for this journey. Athena gives Perseus her pet owl, mechanical counterpart, is called Bubo, to find out Gordon and succeed in killing her. Late July, we found out and decided where to stay for each night. I phoned about twenty hostels to confirm the accommodation. Finally, we succeed in arranging and solving whole the problems. In August 9, I got a severe cough. I hoped I can recover as soon as possible. I didn't want it to influence my dream. It's so terrible. In August 16, Valentine’s Day, we set up our journey.

Postscript: In the 1981 movie Clash of the Titans, the goddess Athena's pet owl, and its mechanical counterpart, is called Bubo, the name being inspired by the Latin name of the Eurasian Eagle-owl.

7/28 bought the pepper spray for white owl
8/01 took the MRT to Zhuwei Station and rode the bike from Zhuwei Station to Dadaocheng Wharf
8/02 from Banciao to Bitan (44km, 2.5hours)
8/04 from Banciao to Bitan (44km, 3hours spend some time taking pictures)
8/06 from Banciao to Bitan (44km, 2.5hours seeing some Russian performance )
8/07 from Banciao to Zhuwei Station to Bitan to Zhuwei Station (118km, 8.5hours break the personal record)
8/08 118 to Z-B-Z 8.5H
8/09 got a severe cough
8/11 I got better but still had a cough, I would like to tried to get more practice. Unconciously, I still rode to Bitan again. Some invisible energy triggers me to do that. I think it is ambition. (45KM, 2hours I rode to Bitan from another side.)
8/13 from Banciao to Bitan (35km, 2hours)

8/7 Today I broke personal record, riding 118KM long. I make a round trip from Bitan and Zhuwei Station and try to take care of other three enthusiastic members.

8/2 I was amazed that fire station offer a lot of assistance for people who need aid. It was the first time I did a training with other members from Zhuwei Station to Dadaocheng Wharf.
