Day 5, the destination was Tainan. There was lots of delicious food in Southern Taiwan . It is beneficial for cyclists to supply energy. In this journey, I have studied that some food are good for cyclists. For example, Banana can prevent cramp. Furthermore, pudding and jelly can be absorbed promptly by human body. Also, chocolate is so convenient to increase our calories. As I mention before, sufficient nutrient is very important. One of the dreamers called Fish. He had a lot of knowledge about where there was delicious food. He was like a gourmand.

Today there were three interesting things. One was that two of the dreamers sneaked to buy water guns. When we got some rest points, they took the water guns out and shot other dreamers. It was so fun. Another thing was that we stepped over the Tropic of Cancer. This feeling was so unique. We did not take a car but rode a bike. It was significant. The other thing was I found out that there were many Confucian temples. I am so impressed that there was a plaque erected in front of the door. There were some words engraved on it. It mentioned no matter who you are, you need to dismount from the horse. That’s why I dismount from my bike at the moment.

Tonight we lived in The Labor Recreation Center in Tainan. Everything was not bad, but it had curfew at eleven pm. We put down all our stuff and went out to night market for dinner. Unfortunately, it started raining. All dreamers lingered in a booth which sold goose potage soup. And we played a horrible game which called three word chain. For example, when someone says PIG, next one needs to use G to be the first word to spell a new word. As a result, the answer of example is God. And we played Chinese version. I was really not good at this kind of game. I was the oldest dreamer in this group. I learned some new ideas and thoughts from these young dreamers. I really experienced a fantastic journey.
