Day 8, today we needed to face the most difficult challenge in this journey. We had to mount a mountain. Its name was Shouka. If cyclists would like to cycle Taiwan, it is the most significant point. After we released our pressure in Kenting, we prepared all our necessaries and set out on our remaining journey again. We went to Eluanbi Park to take the picture. We succeeded in arriving the most southerly point of Taiwan. Although I had travelled here before, I rode the bike. The meaning was totally different. After saying goodbye to Eluanbi lighthouse, we would face about three-hour steep ascent. One of the dreamers called Fat Cat. His bike got broken and stalled halfway up the mountain. It was the second time we called the police. The kind police officer drove Fat Cat to our next destination from Shouka. I thought in his mind. He felt that it was a pity that he could complete this route. Furthermore, some bad thing happened to Tuna again. He was stung by a bee and got paralyzed in his body. Other dreamers felt so frightened. We called 119 to bring him to hospital. Soon ambulance arrived and picked him up to the hospital. After completing the difficult part of today’s route, all dreamers who succeeded in reaching the top of mountain. We took the pictures for memorize. We passed the most difficult part in this journey.

There were some interesting things today. Before mounting Shouka, there was a famous rest house. People who cycled Taiwan would stay here for a white. It was decorated for many unique ornament. I was impressed by a bulletin board. There were many star sign on it and it displayed which star sing already cycled Formosa. My star sign Libra and Gemini was the Top star sign who had the highest number. It refreshed my spirits again. I had to complete this dream.

．About Fat Cat
He attended to this journey from 8/16 to 8/29. However, he needed to serve his military on 8/30. He has silent personality. However, sometimes he would speak some word which made other dreamer feel hilarious. I wished that he will have a safe and smooth military life.

．The first time we called the police.
The first time we called the police because one of the dreamers left his purse on the convenient store which he arrived from the last country town. The kind police officer drove him back to last country town and found out the purse back. Even the police officers made us feel Taiwanese human interest.
